The world was made through Him.
Then the world turned against Him on wood.
And through that same cross, He began reconciling the world back to God.
The World Turned on Wood is an ARCOEN piece rooted in Colossians 1:19–20 — where God makes peace through the blood of Christ’s cross.
The phrase carries a double meaning. The world turned on Christ through the wood of the cross, rejecting the One who holds all things together. But the world also turned because of that wood. The cross became the turning point where sin was answered, peace was made, and reconciliation began.
The design uses restrained serif typography and a fractured wood-grain illustration to reflect the paradox of the cross: creation raised against its Creator, and through that same cross, creation being restored.
Printed in deep espresso ink on a vintage-white heavyweight boxy tee, this piece is a sacred artifact of the moment the world turned — and grace had the final word.
